Attorneys Humbert Polito and Michael Quinn first met at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where they discovered their commitment to helping people who had been injured through the negligence of others.

After graduating law school, working separate clerkships, then working in the same New London firm for many years, they went on to form Polito & Quinn, LLC, in 2002. The firm now focuses on cases involving personal injury and negligence.

Attorney Polito has taught trial advocacy at his alma mater for the past ten years, and his students have also had the benefit of having guest presentations by Attorney Quinn. Michael Quinn has coached a successful high school mock–trial team.

What Does It Mean To Be "Board–Certified"?
Both Humbert Polito and Michael Quinn are Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy. This certification comes from the National Board of Trial Attorneys, and only 2 percent of all lawyers ever receive it.

To qualify, an attorney must have handled a certain number of cases; must receive recommendations from judges and other lawyers; must pass a rigorous day–long exam; and must maintain a spotless ethical record.
